Program Officer - Welcoming Communities

OVERVIEW
The Welcoming Communities Program Officer will be part of USCRI’s Welcoming Communities Program, conducted in its Aguascalientes field office and implemented across Mexico. The program aims to create a new narrative regarding forced displacement and migration in Mexico. Through the mobilization of university campuses, this program has the objective to catalyze institutional capacities in the higher education system in Mexico to induce systemic change that leads to communities that are hospitable to refugees and conscious of the value of the cultural diversity that refugees and migrants bring. The Welcoming Communities Program Officer will be responsible to closely follow the activities of the student committee network within the program, focusing on their expansion, strengthening and capacity building, as well as everything related to mobility events on the university campuses.
