About the role:
Working as part of the AOD Treatment Programs team, the role contributes to ensuring that government-funded services deliver safe, high-quality and accessible care in line with service agreements, performance frameworks and departmental priorities. The Program Officer supports the effective operations, monitoring and continuous improvement of alcohol and other drug (AOD) services across Victoria.
The position provides analytical, operational and stakeholder support to monitor service performance, identify emerging risks and issues, and assist in the development and implementation of improvement strategies across the AOD system. The role works collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers to support consistent oversight, strengthen accountability, and contribute to system-level reform initiatives.
