Program Monitor at City of Hamilton

Engage the community as a Program Monitor with the City of Hamilton this fall. Ensure participant safety, provide basic program instruction, and promote public programs with exceptional service.
In this role, you'll monitor activities and changing areas, assisting with entry-level programming while delivering safety and first aid support. As part of a diverse team, you will contribute to a safe and enjoyable experience for program participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor program areas for safety and participant well-being
• Assist with basic programming and introduce rules of play
• Provide first aid assistance during drop-in recreation
• Set up and take down program equipment as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of change room areas and inspect spaces
Requirements:
• Must be at least 14 years old at application
• Certification in Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C & AED
