REACH LA was founded in 1992 to address the lack of HIV/AIDS prevention education for youth of color. Over the years, the organization has expanded to deliver a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach embracing HIV testing, prevention education, and support services for both HIV-positive individuals and high-risk negative youth. REACH LA creates a safe and supportive space to educate, engage, and mobilize youth about sexual and reproductive health, culture, and well-being. Guided by its mission, REACH LA empowers LGBTQIA+ people of color and their communities through Health & Wellness, Arts Innovation, Workforce Development, and Social Justice.
