Job Summary

The Program Essentials Instructor is responsible for delivering the Program Essentials program which is a part of the post secondary experience at Neeginan College of Applied Technology. The purpose of the program is to assist students in developing and expanding on the knowledge & skills necessary to successfully complete a college-level training program, as well as assisting students to enhance their level of self‑awareness, realise the benefits of health and wellness, understand Indigenous history and culture, and learn excellent study habits, financial management strategies, teamwork, and nine essential soft skills. This position ensures that student support and involvement extend beyond the individual into the community through guest speakers and community volunteerism.
