Position Overview

Senior Engineering Professional Leader (Professional Leader). Responsible for executive leadership of the engineering function within the Canada Energy Regulator.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert engineering leadership to a community of engineers and technologists, demonstrating exceptional judgment, strategic thinking, integrity, diplomacy, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Shape the technical capacity of the organization to achieve regulatory excellence, characterized by exceptional technical competence and the highest standards of integrity.
• Establish and lead engineering professional networks and communities of practice to enable dialogue, knowledge exchange, and organizational alignment.
• Partner with the other members of the Professional Leadership team to implement, sustain, and evolve the Technical Excellence Program.
