J&W Farms, a local company producing soups, dips, salsas, chilis, pestos and more, is looking for a full-time kitchen/production helper. Main duties include:
- washing, prepping/chopping vegetables(using a machine and/or by hand when necessary)
- assist the packing of finished product(labeling and dating finished product)
- perform cleaning and sanitation of prep area daily and as needed (surfaces, utensils, machinery, floors)
- organization and rotation of inventory for fresh ingredients and dry goods — first in, first out!
Flexible person also interested in working at our small farm field and farm stand — lots of opportunities!
Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Focused, physically strong as the work demands standing and lifting up to 50lbs
- Previous experience in manufacturing or the food industry is highly desirable.
