Production Supervisor, Test & Trials

Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Commissioning & Trials Engineer to lead and support the safe, efficient commissioning, testing, and trials of electric and mechanical systems onboard new construction and repair vessels. The role supervises and mentors unionized trades teams, coordinates closely with Production and Trials stakeholders, and ensures all work meets schedule, quality, and safety requirements. The position plays a key role in troubleshooting complex systems, improving productivity, and delivering compliant, high-quality vessels for sea trials and acceptance. It is well suited for experienced marine professionals, including current or former RCN marine technicians, who excel in fast‑paced operational environments.
