Job Purpose
Serve as a leader and facilitator for the work team’s tasks and activities in order to achieve safety, quality, production, environmental, and overall operational objectives, while meeting customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with the company’s safety policies, and provide timely follow‑up on corrective actions for unsafe conditions and compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report environmental or safety risks to the immediate supervisor.
- Ensure personnel operate the machines for which they were trained, following standard work procedures.
- Participate in accident / incident investigations.
- Promote environmental awareness and safety standards in accordance with established systems.
- Assume responsibility and accountability regarding the effectiveness of the environmental management system.
