Manpower is currently hiring for a Production Supervisor to support a growing facility in Port Colborne.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Production Technicians operating in a 24/7 shift schedule
- As part of the Leadership Group, manage Safety and Quality Assurance Programs.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, policies and procedures for all workers performing tasks in the Purification Department.
- Uphold the achievement of safety targets.
- Ensure (HACCP) requirements are met for food safety.
- Keeping quality top priority
- Perform workplace inspections every shift to keep the department “audit ready” at all times.
- Implement practical continuous improvement Kaizen initiatives to improve operating results.
- Monitor the process and make adjustments when required
- Prepare for daily maintenance requirements and shutdown and lockout equipment to be worked on.
