Production Operator

Overview

1. Upon turnover of shift, reads operation logbooks and obtains verbal or written information from the outgoing technician on status of operation.

2. Coordinates with the Ethanol Production Supervisor for any instruction on prevailing fermentation process conditions. Likewise, at the end of the shift relays important information to the incoming technician.

3. Operates the Fermentation Main Control Panel (Digital Control System) and closely monitors all required parameters (yeast condition, pH, Brix) in order to attain the optimum fermentation efficiency set by superior for maximum production of ethanol and CO2.

4. Operates the fermentation syrup tank, yeast propagation and separation and ensures proper sterilization of all tanks.

5. Maintains material balance of the materials being processed in order to attain desired over-all plant efficiency.
