JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for planning and directing all aspects of production activities in Mexicali to manufacture and develop products of high quality and reliability at optimum cost and in accordance with customer requirements.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Responsible for overseeing and managing optimization of manufacturing efficiencies.
- Planning and coordination of production activites to obtain optimum utilization of human resources, direct materials, and equipment to meet department targets (OTD/CM ect.) - Advises Management of new developments that may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations and/or inter-departmental relations.
- Schedules all labor within their assigned department which includes overtime, vacations, leave of absences, and training to ensure the timely completion.
- Weekly approvals of time records for department.
- Responsible for timely performance feedback and annual reviews.
