Duties & Responsibilities
- Uses various types of hand tools and fixtures to assemble current heavy duty doors.
- Maintains a clean work area and adheres to 5S procedures.
- Completes tear downs and repairs as required.
- Follows rotation schedule where provided.
- Informs Unit Leader/Team Leader of all stock shortages, quality and downtime issues.
- Follows work instructions as well as QMS procedures.
- Identifies all nonconforming products by applying nonconforming product tags as required.
- Uses proper FIFO practices for all products or materials.
- Ensures that PPE is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
- Follows company policies and procedures as well as SOPs.
- Contributes to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
- Loads, unloads and monitors production equipment.
- Ensures all parts are correctly tagged or labelled.
