Production Assistant Manager

Tasks

The Production Assistant Manager is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations at Spark Plant to ensure safe, on-time, and defect-free delivery of parts to Daimler Truck production plants. This position supports operational excellence by driving production performance, strengthening leadership coverage across all shifts, developing high-performance teams, and promoting continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and IMS/ERP systems utilization. The role also ensures alignment with SQDCM targets while fostering accountability, teamwork, and customer-focused execution.

• Production Leadership
  • Manage day-to-day production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery/equipment/materials, cost, and morale targets.
  • Ensure all processes and operations comply with Daimler Truck standards and IMS requirements.
  • Use IMS/ERP systems to plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet customer demand.
