The Role
The Product Owner, Services is embedded in a cross-functional Product Team and fulfills the primary accountabilities outlined below for client-sponsored projects.
Defining and communicating the requirements and business value in collaboration with the client, solution engineering and other stakeholders, and documenting those requirements in a Product Requirements Document and Statement of Work.
The Product Owner, Services plays an important role in the sale and scoping of service-based engagements.
Maintaining and prioritizing a sufficient backlog of ready-to-work backlog items to facilitate Sprint Planning.
Accepting User Stories as being completed based on their established acceptance criteria and Definition of Done. In so doing, the Product Owner also fulfills a critical quality assurance function, focusing primarily on fitness for use.
Proactively participating in release and product increment planning.
