General Description
The Product Engineering Specialist plays a critical role in supporting sales, engineering, and plant operations by assessing customer SKUs, drawings, requirements and product specifications to determine manufacturing feasibility, tooling requirements, and process capability. The incumbent is responsible for translating customer requirements into practical tooling and production solutions, including sourcing, modifying, or developing machine tooling required to produce identified parts. This role also provides technical input on existing tooling, materials, and process improvements to increase productivity, quality, safety, and manufacturability. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with industrial tooling, tooling design, customer specification review, and problem‑solving in a heavy manufacturing environment.
