Responsibilities

• Develop and validate brake systems for trucks and buses, ensuring compliance with safety, performance, and durability targets.
• Define brake system architecture and technical requirements considering GVW, payload variation, axle configurations (4x2, 6x2, 6x4, etc.) and trailer operation.
• Perform brake balance studies, torque distribution calculations, and stopping distance simulations for fully loaded and partially loaded conditions.
• Support EBS/ABS/ESC calibration activities to ensure vehicle stability during braking maneuvers such as μ-split, downhill braking, emergency stops, and articulated vehicle conditions.
