Procurement Quality Assurance Representative (PQAR)

The Procurement Quality Assurance Representative (PQAR) reports to the Procurement Quality Manager and is based at Candu Energy Inc., Mississauga, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Review procurement documentation (Engineering Requisition, Engineering documents, Bidders List, Request for Proposal, Purchase Order) to ensure quality requirements are accurately captured and communicated to suppliers.
• Review and evaluate supplier proposals/bids, determining compliance with QA requirements and conducting supplier audits as needed.
• Plan and conduct supplier audit processes—including SCAR, audit reports, audit checklists, and Supplier Acceptance Letters—with proper filing of all audit documentation.
