Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience working within procurement within construction
- Strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle, including permitting, design, scheduling, and coordination with architects and general contractors (GCs).
- Proven experience managing complex vendor contracts valued between $10M–$15M.
- Experience establishing and managing vendor KPIs, including performance tracking and vendor rating systems.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience; this role will manage 2–3 individuals and supporting potential team growth, including mentoring and coaching procurement specialists, and driving their professional development through regular business reviews and one‑on‑one sessions.
- Ability to independently support business partners with minimal oversight; this role will involve supporting internal stakeholders in Canada and the US and third party suppliers.
