Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals and cost‑saving targets ensuring that all materials are sourced efficiently.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate contracts that provide the best value for the company.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical specifications and requirements, ensuring that purchased materials meet project standards.
• Manage supplier relationships effectively, monitoring performance and resolving issues to maintain continuity of supply and quality.
• Sourced, evaluated, and pre‑qualified vendors in accordance with company procurement policies and approved supplier lists.
