We are looking for a Buyer Engineer based in Madrid. Being part of a Procurement Project Team, the candidate will develop, learn and be responsible for:
Ensure compliance with directives and corporate/project procedures
Commercial management of the assigned purchases and purchase orders
Supplier and bidder evaluation and selection
Launch of Requests for quotation and expediting timely receipt of bids
Evaluation, clarification and negotiation of sound bids
Issue of final Commercial Tabulation and recommendation
Preparing of award proposals
Issue and follow‑up of approved Purchase Orders, including changes and final close out
Participate in kick‑off meetings and solve commercial issues during PO execution
Internal expediting and close coordination with other departments and project
Provision of related reports and status
