Process Piping Designer

Job Responsibilities

1. Carry out process piping design for industrial projects (chemical, energy, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, etc.), including piping layout studies, plot plans, sections, and isometric drawings.
2. Define piping classes, perform wall thickness calculations, and design pipe supports according to ASME B31.3, EN 13480, and Spanish UNE standards.
3. Organize and maintain the piping material database; select valves and special items and prepare datasheets.
4. Build piping models in 3D plant design platforms, run clash checks, and coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
5. Write piping construction specifications and provide technical support to procurement and construction.
6. Participate in the review of site hydrotest and flushing schemes, and manage design changes.
