- Is the source of processes, raw mat and product knowledge inside and outside the team
- Runs full feasibility exercises on project proposals (technical, financial, resource, timing, capex, opex,) in collaboration with R&D, Quality, Finance and Procurement
- Scale up the production process via plant trials, according to changes in raw materials or components, and process parameters to ensure quality is maintained during large-scale production
- Improve yelds by reducing costs, e.g. investigating alternative materials according to masterspecs or new machinery to improve efficiency and quality in bottlenecks area
- Devise test methods to assess the production process
- Validate new processes and show that they are an improvement
- Collaborate with R&D to product pipelines at various stages of development
