Process Engineer-In-Training Advanced Fuels and Chemicals (Vancouver)

Position Overview

Type of position: Regular. Location: Vancouver, BC. Role: Process Engineer – In‑Training with BBA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen client relationships.
• Contribute to proposals, engineering, technology selection, and project delivery for plant services, including biofuels manufacturing processes, carbon capture and utilization, green hydrogen, water treatment, liquefied natural gas, specialty chemicals, lithium processing and more.
• Prepare easy plans and basic calculations.
• Apply established design and calculation methods.
• Develop mass and energy balances using simulation software.
• Select and size process equipment.
• Draft specifications, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, plant layouts, technical specifications and assessments, and reports.
• Participate in various work phases at the office, on site or in a lab.
