Process Development Scientist (Biochemicals)

At Intrinsic Foundries, we turn industrial carbon into high-value biochemicals. The biology works. The capture works. What decides whether a molecule becomes a product or stays a lab result is downstream processing. That's the role, and it lives in the lab.

We're looking for a scientist who runs the experiments themselves. You'll spend your time at the bench developing and refining the recovery cascade from harvested biomass to purified product, across lipids, pigments, and proteins.

What you'll do

• Run downstream experiments hands-on, day to day: cell disruption, extraction, separation, concentration, purification
• Develop and optimise protocols for multiple product classes, screening conditions and iterating fast
• Characterise products and quantify recovery yield and purity at each step
• Keep clean, rigorous experimental records and turn raw data into clear conclusions
