Qualifications:
Expertise in materials/process engineering: epoxy, solder, metallization, ceramics in laser productsExperience with manual and automated component attach methods, particularly where high accuracy placement and/or active alignment is required (Diebond/Wirebond/Reflow experience)Familiar with six-sigma techniques, , design for manufacturability/reliability (DFx), SPC, GR&RExperience of using MRSI, Ficontec machine as a plusKnowledge of optics, optical design, tolerance analysis as a plusExperience with high-power semiconductor laser devices as a plusExperience in conceptual design layout, vendor interaction, package prototyping, testing, and performance characterizationEducation should be MS/PhD in optical, electrical, physical engineering or equivalent with 8+ years’ experience in optoelectronics
