Process Controller 1

We are currently in search of PC 1 at our Evander branch reporting to the Panel Operator.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Operating various high temperature / pressure equipment to SOP / instruction and operating envelope, includes effluent plant and blending products


• Understands limits of authority to deviate from operating envelopes


• Makes optimisation suggestions to superior by utilising his chemical engineering skills


• Maintains good housekeeping practices


• Completes log sheets: plant and inspection


• Interprets trend changes that require superior notification


• Manages tank levels: Feed / product / blends


• Performs and checks chemical dosing: Boiler, effluent, MVF, cooling towers


• Adheres to the Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures


• Tank dips, sampling, month end stock take
