Role Context

Global Business Operations (GBO) is a global multifunctional shared service entity that processes DIAGEO-wide transactions across various world regions. Processes in scope are: Sells to Cash (STC), Source to Pay (STP), Record to Report (RTR) and Data Services (MDM).

Diageo also has Captive Centers that support service provision in integral markets. GBO is a multicultural, multi‑language and matrixed environment.

A program is underway to establish a Captive Service Centre in Bangalore to service global markets.

The Data Service Stream in GBO provides master data services, which include data compliance and maintenance activities for GBO-served countries. It is being realized in cross‑market and end‑to‑end functional responsibilities to continue the progress achieved in FY22 by the Data community.
