Overview
The Advanced Polymer Product Development Technologist is expected to apply technical skills, knowledge of product development, and leadership skills to:
- Conduct both fundamental and applied research supporting product development activities
- Work closely with other functions including research, process engineering, manufacturing, and interfacing with market-facing functions
- Develop new products for broad market applications
- Solve problems independently
- Acquire a strong working knowledge of technology fundamentals for their assigned areas
- Collaborate, interact, and communicate effectively with partners
- Develop key leadership skills to facilitate the transition from an individual contributor to a technical leader
