Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), ideally within a healthcare or regulated workplace
- Support and enhance privacy governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Identify and assess privacy risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Provide guidance on data protection and regulatory compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
- Background in healthcare privacy is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of privacy laws, regulations, and best practices
- Strong IT security background with knowledge of security principles and controls
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Certifications such as CIPP/C or CIPT preferred
- Consulting or advisory experience is considered an asset
