1. Foundational MFP Vulnerability Management (Technical Core)

• Embedded Device Security: Strong understanding that modern Multi-Functional Printers (MFPs) function as network servers and require the same security patching rigor as standard OS servers.
• Vulnerability Lifecycle Knowledge: Ability to interpret enterprise vulnerability scan reports (e.g., Tenable/Nessus, Qualys), isolate CVEs, and map them to manufacturer security bulletins to identify patches.
• Remediation Methodologies: Familiarity with both firmware-based patching and configuration-based mitigations (e.g., disabling insecure protocols, applying port restrictions).
