Principal/Senior Systems Engineer (Cybersecurity Operations)

This position reports to Security Operations (SecOps) team lead and interfaces with other teams within the Cyber Security Branch & within the IT Department. The person will work closely with cross-functional teams across Cybersecurity and IT to safeguard organisational systems, networks, and sensitive data, while strengthening the organisation’s overall security posture through proactive threat prevention, detection, and response.

Person will be responsible for the day‑to‑day administration and management of cyber security systems which include but not limited to:

• Network security management (e.g. intrusion prevention system, network detection & response)
• Web security management (e.g. URL filtering, web application firewall)
• End point security management (e.g. anti‑malware, device control, application control, data loss prevention or network access control)
