Main Activities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accuracy of all structural drafting tasks.
- Ensures all drawings are checked before they are issued to the client.
- Ensures all drawings comply with CAD Standards and Quality Systems relevant to specialisation and location.
- Undertake reviews of engineering drawings to ensure compliance with CAD Standards and Quality Systems.
- Carries out audits of drawings-in-progress, as well as the final drawings.
- Responsible in the development of drawings from designer sketches and working sheets to the final outputs taking into consideration the clarity, completeness and accuracy of the plan.
- Accountable for the coordination and production of drawings and drafting requirements of the assigned project/s.
- Mentors staff on drafting procedures and approaches to performing tasks.
