Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, engineering, climate, or a university degree with at least 5 years specialized experience relevant to the position can be considered.
• At least 12 years of work experience in the field of climate-related private sector project development, advisory, financing activities, preferably in the Asia and Pacific region. International experience working in several countries.
• Significant experience in private sector development, transaction advisory, risk mitigation, or debt/equity finance in climate change mitigation and adaptation projects.
• Working experience with governments, investors, private equity funds, commercial banks, and international organizations.
• Proven management and leadership qualities.
• Familiarity with private investment operations, policies, and procedures of multilateral financial institutions is preferred.
