Principal Software Engineer – CoCounsel for Audit team (created from the recent acquisition of Materia).

Own core backend and AI orchestration systems that transform frontier models into production‑grade workflows at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI backbone: lead backend and orchestration layers powering AI agents, conversations, workspaces, and knowledge base.
• Shape AI platform patterns: define MCP servers, agent design, novel LLM uses, experimentation, and scalable infrastructure influencing multiple product lines.
• Build and evolve systems that operate over millions of documents and thousands of concurrent AI interactions in production environments.
• Lead multi‑quarter initiatives across AI, product, and infrastructure (e.g., a new orchestration layer, low‑latency retrieval system, unified knowledge base).
