Principal Marine Structural Engineer

Overview

• Lead the development of business opportunities and oversee project execution across the Atlantic region
• Act as technical authority and escalation point for complex and high-risk marine structural projects
• Define and approve design approaches, standards, and methodologies for ports and marine infrastructure
• Provide technical oversight and direction to senior and intermediate engineers
• Oversee QA/QC across project deliverables and ensure alignment with applicable codes and standards
• Support and contribute to proposal development, scope definition, fee estimation, and technical content
• Maintain trusted client relationships and provide senior technical input to support long-term client needs
• Provide construction-phase technical leadership and resolve complex field issues
• Mentor senior engineers and support technical progression and succession planning within the Ports & Marine team
