Job Description
Join our Water team as a Senior Flood Modeller. In this role you will be a senior technical resource that guides junior staff and expands our flood modelling services for local authorities, water companies and private/public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and check hydraulic models using packages such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, Mike 11, Mike 21, HEC‑RAS and ICM for flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments and reservoir studies.
- Develop water quality models (physico‑chemical, biological, bacterial or chemical) using MIKE, Delft3D, SIMCAT or ICM.
- Conceptualise and scope modelling approaches, assessing risks and opportunities.
- Undertake and verify hydrological assessments using the Flood Estimation Handbook, ReFH2 and WINFAP.
