About the role

AEMO’s Operations Division is responsible, through close collaboration with asset owners and users, for managing the networks AEMO operates, currently those that enable the operation of the NEM. The Systems Performance team ensures that market ancillary services, such as frequency control, and asset performance remain as expected. It assists in rectifying compliance issues and plays an important role in developing the procedures and specifications that govern system and asset performance. Your role will be to provide technical leadership for the review of power system performance in relation to National Electricity Rules and generator performance standards. This will contribute to the effective introduction of new generation connections, and to the effective operation of the NEM generation fleet.
