Principal Design Enablement

We are hiring a highly motivated Research Scientist for PDK device design and research projects management with integrated opto‑electronics circuit design, fabrication, and characterization.

In this role you will be involved in application‑oriented PDK design, fabrication and characterization, working with a multidisciplinary team from photonics and FAB.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize silicon photonic devices, including passive and active devices such as balanced photodetectors and high‑speed photodetectors for application‑oriented PDK development.
• Independently carry out device characterization to verify performance and conduct device analysis with documentation.
• Provide technical support on PDK‑related questionnaires.
• File patents on silicon photonics devices to protect AMF intellectual property.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties will vary according to project progress and/or specific company goals.
