Responsibilities
- Carry out troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument breakdown or failures to find the root cause and best solution to restore normal functionality
- Respond to technical queries from operation personnel and provide advice/solution according to best engineering practice to address issues affecting power plant operation
- Follow C&I work instructions and propose improvements where necessary
- Lead the execution of shutdown works for instrumentation to ensure completion on time
- Work closely with various sections to coordinate cross‑functional maintenance works
- Perform risk assessment prior to start of work and conduct on‑job risk assessment to identify residual risks associated with planned/unplanned work
- Monitor spare parts and inventory for critical instrumentation to ensure availability and minimize unplanned outages
