Prime Contracts Manager

Job Summary

The Prime Contracts Manager will support effective administration and management of the prime contract agreement between Customer and Bechtel. The position reports operationally to the Project Manager(s) and functionally to the GBU Manager of Prime Contracts. Duties and responsibilities include implementation of the Prime Contract Management Program and ongoing related training, monitoring compliance with project/prime contract completion requirements and status. In consultation with GBU Management/Legal, facilitate strategies for effective management of project commercial matters, including creation and capture of contemporaneous records. The position may start in the home office in Reston, VA for ~6 months to support preconstruction planning, ahead of project mobilization to the field, from which point the position will be based at the project site/camp in Pecos, TX through project completion.
