Overview
Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, is seeking a Press Operator for our cold stamp facility in Windsor, Ontario. The role involves operating various tonnage presses, producing quality parts, and working in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain tonnage presses, decoilers, feeders, conveyors, cranes, and PLC‑controlled equipment.
- Perform Quick Die Change (Q.D.C.) procedures with minimal supervision.
- Use measuring and inspection devices to ensure part accuracy and quality, completing all relevant paperwork.
- Troubleshoot quality issues and report damages.
- Apply lean‑manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce costs, and increase capacity.
