Predoctoral Fellow: Urban Economics and Data Science

CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS MONETARIOS Y FINANCIEROS (CEMFI) is seeking a full-time predoctoral fellow to assist in the research project City buzz: Quantity, quality, and variety implications of the urban environment funded by a European Research Council Advanced Grant. The role involves data preparation, statistical analysis, and supporting the principal investigator.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, excellent coding skills, and a strong interest in academic research. The position is based in Madrid and offers a one-year appointment starting from September 2026.
