Powertrain Calibration Engineer (OBD & Emissions)

Job Description

AVL is looking for a Powertrain Calibration Engineer to join a long-term resident engineering team working on-site with a major automotive OEM in Barcelona. This position offers exposure to the complete calibration and validation process, including combustion calibration, OBD diagnostics, emissions development, vehicle testing, data analysis and customer deliverables. The engineer will participate in all stages of the development process, from vehicle preparation and test execution to calibration definition, technical analysis, reporting and project follow-up. The role provides opportunities to work on both conventional gasoline powertrains and advanced hybrid architectures, within an international and highly technical environment. We are looking for engineers who enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and contributing actively to the success of the team and the project.
