Job Opportunity: Journeyperson Powerline Technician (PLT)
We are currently seeking Journeyperson Powerline Technicians (PLT) to join our growing team in Windsor / Tilbury, ON. Reporting to the Construction Foreman, PLT’s are responsible for the construction of overhead and underground electrical power distribution systems. This hands‑on role requires strong technical ability and a commitment to safety.
Note: Candidates must reside locally or within a reasonable commuting distance. All projects are unionized worksites. Candidates must be willing to join the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Erect and maintain steel, wood poles, towers, and guy wires
- Install overhead and underground power lines, insulators, conductors, transformers, switches, and associated equipment
- Perform conductor stringing, sagging, clipping, and dead‑ending (both energized and de‑energized)
