Reporting
Reporting to the Line Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair overhead and underground power lines and cables.
- Connect new services, install temporary services, inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair powerline systems, subsystems, and equipment to ensure maximum productivity and quality.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair emergency powerline systems, subsystems, and equipment and replace as required.
- Travel to remote communities to perform regular inspections, conduct preventative maintenance, install equipment, and perform general repairs to powerlines and systems.
- Maintain maintenance documentation and coordinate with operators and maintenance staff when amending documentation.
