About the job As a Power Quality Engineer in Distribution Standards you will be exposed to a wide range of technical subjects across both the Distribution and Transmission systems as you work to identify and resolve customer and network power quality issues. The ideal candidate will enjoy a mix of field and office work; the field work can take you anywhere that customers use power supplied by BC Hydro, sometimes requiring multi‑day visits to accomplish the work.

Accept and contribute to our strong safety culture, as you will be exposed regularly to electrical hazard, driving and working alone;
Be willing to travel, often alone, to any area of the province;
