Position Overview
A Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech III) within the Power/HVAC division at United Rentals will perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs on equipment such as diesel engines, HVAC, dehumidification, and air purification units, ensuring safe and professional operation.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
- Report machine condition to Management.
- Maintain accurate service documentation.
- Occasional travel to customer sites.
- Demonstrate equipment to customers.
- Train lower‑level technicians as needed.
- Assist with pick‑up and delivery of equipment & parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment.
