Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports.
- Build and optimise Power BI semantic models, including star schemas, relationships, measures, and row‑level security.
- Create and maintain dataflows and shared datasets to support enterprise reporting.
- Data Modelling & Architecture
- Apply dimensional modelling principles to support analytical workloads.
- Work with data engineers to design and document technical solutions.
- Ensure interoperability with the wider data platform.
- Operational Support & Estate Management
- Maintain the day‑to‑day running of the Force’s Power BI estate, including workspace management, dataset refresh monitoring, gateway oversight, and performance optimisation.
