Job Overview

Postdoctoral Research Associate with strong expertise in plant tissue culture and regeneration to support and advance research focused on refining, optimizing, and standardizing existing plant transformation protocols. The candidate will work within the established transformation and regeneration platform at the Arica experimental station, Chile.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and refine plant tissue culture protocols, including media preparation, explant handling, selection, regeneration, and acclimatization.
• Systematically optimize regeneration and transformation workflows to improve consistency, efficiency, and throughput.
• Evaluate existing plant transformation protocols and identify parameters affecting success rates.
• Generate and maintain transgenic plants produced through established transformation pipelines.
